Dubai International Airport saw 43.05 million passengers during H1 2017 – a 6.3% increase on H1 2016.Passenger traffic at Al Maktoum International grew 35.3% in H1 2017 with 554,993 passengers, compared to 410,278 in H1 2016.Al Maktoum is currently undergoing a AED 117.54 billion expansion programme; and by the end of Q1 2022, will be the world’s biggest airport with a capacity of 240 million passengers per year.
